Well prove it!! Bring your band and all your fans to The Jacksonville Landing and compete in the Last Band Standing competition! *To enter your band, log on to http://x1029.com/inside/lastbandstanding.html. Entry is free!

For three Saturdays, we’ll hear from some of Northeast Florida’s best bands. Make sure you come out to support them because YOU, the CROWD, are the JUDGES! The dates are July 10, 17 and 24th! Event time is 8pm each night!

Finals will take place on Saturday, July 31. The top two bands from the three previous Saturdays will compete in the finals to see who the Last Band Standing will be!

So – what does the winning band get???

• Open an X 102.9 NATIONAL concert!
• Perform at the Georgia/Florida Celebration at The Jacksonville Landing this October
• $500 cash!

*(Please note that all members of your band must be at least 13 years old. Your band may not already be signed to a label. You must submit a Myspace music page that includes uploaded audio to be considered. Nothing on the Myspace music page you submit may contain profanity, including audio files.)

*Additional information:
· This competition is open to all bands (cover bands and/or original bands). Bands that have played at The Landing before are also encouraged to register.
· Please indicate when registering if you have a conflict with any of the preliminary round dates (July 11, 18 or 25th). We will make every effort to accommodate special requests.
· After the panel reviews each submission, bands that are accepted into the competition will be notified immediately and given further instructions. Bands invited to compete in Last Band Standing will be asked to perform a minimum of three (3) songs of their choosing live on the Main Stage in the Landing Courtyard.
