31st Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
The Jacksonville Landing and Sleiman Enterprises present the 31st Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 24 at 7:00 p.m.
Kickoff the holiday season at The Jacksonville Landing the day after Thanksgiving. Bring your family and friends as The Landing lights the 56-foot-tall energy-efficient Christmas tree featuring over 78,000 L.E.D. lights and more than 150 ornaments.
The show will take place in the Landing’s Courtyard beginning at 7:00 p.m. featuring live musical entertainment, the 31st annual lighting of The Jacksonville Landing’s Christmas Tree and a fireworks display on the St. Johns River as the grand finale. The Landing’s Christmas Tree will light up at 9 p.m. while fireworks light up the sky!
Featured artists include Brady Clampitt, Melissa Smith, Andrew Sapin, Mama Blue and more with special dance performances by Grace Conservatory and Schott Jones School of Dance. The host for the ceremony Rance Adams TV from River City Live and the DJ is Kevin Tos from Party Solution Entertainment. This year’s show will bring the Jacksonville community together while enjoying a night filled with holiday cheer, special guest appearances and lighting The Landing’s 56-foot-tall Christmas Tree.
Plus, viewers from Jacksonville and outside of Jacksonville who cannot attend this event can watch the show live on The Landing’s Facebook page.
The tree is also programmed to perform a 10-minute, synchronized light show set to various selections of holiday music. The light shows begin the night of the Tree Lighting Ceremony and continue nightly until New Year’s Eve.
The Courtyard at The Landing will be standing-room-only for the Tree Lighting Ceremony. Therefore, the public is asked not to bring chairs. There will be handicap seating available on the Food Court Balcony located on the second floor.
Performances start at 7 p.m.
Christmas Tree Lighting and fireworks will take place at 9 p.m.
